dcterms.abstract802.11p inter-vehicle communications is attracting growing research attentions. Most of previous works focused on studying the broadcasting performance, whereas the unicast performance is seldom addressed. Furthermore, most of conventional studies fail to consider a realistic vehicular traffic distribution. In view of this inadequacy, this paper proposes an 802.11p unicast modeling methodology under a practical stochastic traffic model and demonstrates its feasibility. Our analytical results show that the vehicular distribution on a road with signal control has strong influence on unicast performance.-
