Abstract: The fifth cohort of SOAR Youth Leadership Program 2017/2018 was launched in Beijing in the summer of 2018. A 21-hour intensive "Service Leadership" course was conducted with 43 undergraduate students who studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Peking University (PKU). This study employed a mix-method approach that integrated both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate the effectiveness of the "Service Leadership" course, including students' views on the program content, lecturers, and overall satisfaction. Consistent with previous studies, the three dimensions were significantly correlated. Students' responses collected through quantitative and qualitative methods were generally positive, suggesting that the program could promote service leadership qualities in the program participants.
