dcterms.abstractUsing a qualitative approach, this paper reviewed the effectiveness and benefits of the training programs of Tin Ka Ping P.A.T.H.S. Project in mainland China. Nine teachers who participated in the previous training programs in different cities since 2015 were invited to participate in a semi-structured interview in the summer 2021. Four domains of responses were addressed, including: 1) teacher training arrangements; 2) teachers’ experience of teacher training; 3) teacher training impact; and 4) room for improvements. The findings showed that the training programs were highly appreciated by the program participants in terms of training content, administrative support and organization, and perceived effectiveness of the training programs over time. Besides interviewees’ positive perceptions of the program, difficulties and challenges were also discussed with reference to the new phase of the Tin Ka Ping P.A.T.H.S. Project - “Building the ‘Tin’ Homeland Together.”en_US
