This study aims to suggest how to enhance interaction among learners, content and teacher in synchronous classes. All classes in the education field have to be conducted via asynchronous or synchronous classes due to COVID-19, though previous research has been concerned about effective teaching and learning in online education. However, most previous research showed superficial present conditions without investigating the theoretical background of synchronous classes. Therefore, this study examines the theoretical background of online interaction as well as practical ways to enhance interactions. It is expected that these suggestions can help Korean language teachers as well as foreign language teachers when they design activities for enhancing interactions in synchronous classes.
