Abstract: Chiral analysis by mass spectrometry has attracted much attention due to its advantages in speed, sensitivity and specificity. In this review, recent advances in chiral analysis by mass spectrometry are summarized, with the methods based on tandem mass spectrometry (e.g., kinetic method, chiral recognition ratio method and photodissociation mass spectrometry method) and ion mobility mass spectrometry highlighted. Different methods are compared, and the limitations of the current studies and the prospects of chiral mass spectrometry are discussed.
