As a potential way to realize the interaction and integration between manufacturing physical world and information space, the concept of Digital Twin Shop-floor (DTS) had been proposed recently which attracted high attentions of both academics and industrial practitioners in related fields. Based on the authors' previous work on DTS's concept, system composition, operation mechanisms, characteristics and key technologies, a reference architecture for DTS system was designed. According to the four main system compositions of DTS, the cyber-physical fusion problem was investigated from the following four aspects which were physical elements connection and fusion in physical shop-floor, virtual models integration and fusion in virtual shop-floor, physical-cyber data integration and fusion based on digital twin, and applications integration based on services. The basic theories and key technologies for implementing the four issues of cyber-physical fusion were investigated respectively, which provided a reference for enterprises to build and practice DTS.
