Analyzing and modeling the construction-drive of China

Abstract

本研究提供了研究建设投资对国民经济增长影响的数量方法 .根据 1980年到 1998年的统计数据 ,建立了回归模型来衡量建设推动力对中国GDP增长中的影响 .它的结果不仅提供了分析建设推动力的数量模型 ,而且对于正确认识建筑业和基础设施在中国经济增长中的作用及与其他国家或地区的横向比较提供了依据 . This paper presents a quantitative methodology for examining the driving impacts from infrastructure and construction investment to the national economic growth in China. Based on the statistical data (1980 to 1998), regression models are developed to show the construction drive to the Chinese GDP growth during the implementation of the national economy reform since beginning of 1980s. The results not only provide the findings of demonstrating the construction drive to the Chinese GDP growth, but also provide valuable information for comparing the construction impacts to economic growth in China and other countries.
