Issue Date: | Sep-2005 | Source: | 外国语 (Journal of foreign languages), Sept. 2005, no. 5, p. 2-9 | Abstract: | 香港书面汉语和标准汉语中有些词语形式相同,但意义有差异,互为同形异义词语。本文通过香港报纸的实例,分析受英语影响而产生的同形异义词语,其中包括同形异义音译外来词,同形异义意译词,英语影响汉语语义或语法功能而造成的同形异义词,以及因英国制度影响而造成的同形异义词。 Some words in Hong Kong written Chinese are morphologically identical to those in Standard Chinese but are semantically different from their counterparts. These homographs come from various sources. Some of them are the result of accidental mismatch in the sense that different English words are translated as the same Chinese word. Some others came into being when their semantic field or syntactic behavior was altered due to English influence. |
