By simplifying the structural configuration and reducing permanent magnet (PM) consumption, the proposed design effectively mitigates manufacturing complexity and production costs, making it highly suitable for direct-drive applications. The electromagnetic performance, including torque output and back electromotive force, is comprehensively evaluated using the finite element method (FEM).
