Subject and methods: A total of 1153 eligible pregnant women were involved in the study. After obtaining informed consent, participants were asked to complete all questionnaires to assess the study outcomes. A multiple linear regression model was employed to identify significant predictors of FSOC. Data were analyzed with a multiple linear regression model. Results: The findings show that six variables in this study strongly predicted the FSOC. These predictors were income (β = 0.088, t = 3.72, P = < 0.001), having a university education (β = 0.061, t = 2.546, P = 0.011), sleep quality index (β = −0.116, t = −4.736, P < 0.001), perceived level of stress (β = −0.065, t = −2.876, P = 0.004), family and marital functional measures (β = 0.419, t = 15.843, P < 0.001), and social support (β = 0.219, t = 8.401, P < 0.001). Conclusion: The results showed that key socioeconomic and psychosocial factors can influence women’s family sense of coherence, highlighting the importance of strengthening family and community support programs and offering stress-coping mechanisms for pregnant women. Moreover, future researchers should consider these factors for further interventional studies. |
