				| Title: | Adaptive passivity-based control of extended-period quasi-resonant converters | Authors: | Ho, HFJ Cheng, KWE | Issue Date: | 2006 | Source: | 2006 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics Systems and Applications : Hong Kong, 12-14 November 2006, p. 260-265 | Abstract: | An adaptive passivity based control scheme is proposed for the stabilization of average model of extended-period quasi-resonant (EPQRC) power converter. The output load of the converter is assumed constant but unknown. A generalized state space average model of a buck-type series-mode extended-period quasi-resonant converter (SM-EPQRC) is derived. The adaptive controller is designed based on the derived model and the passivity–based control (PBC) technique. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the features of the proposed controller. | Keywords: | DC-DC power converters Modeling Adaptive control | Publisher: | Power Electronics Research Centre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University | ISBN: | 9623675445 | Rights: | Copyright © The Hong Kong Polytechnic University 2006 |
