The use of the right material and the understanding of its microstructure are critical for boosting the sorption performance. In this work, we show that the incorporation of PEI in Mo oxide via the introduction of a rejection potential in pulsed electrodeposition can create a hybrid film with an enhanced CO2 sorption performance.
