Abstract: Limiting mutual diffusion coefficients of carbon tetrachloride, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 2,2,‐dichloropropane, and 2‐chloro‐2‐methylpropane in acetone, methanol, ethanol, and n‐decane at 298.2 K have been determined by the chromatographic broadening method. The mutual diffusion data for each solvent are approximately equal and independent of the mass and dipole moment of the pseudospherical solute molecules.
