Abstract: 文章采用生成语法学的动词移位理论对汉语方言受事话题句的类型现象作出重新分析,并且论证话题化的“强弱”本身不是参数,动词移位才是一项参数,话题化的差异和汉语方言词序的差异最终由动词移位来决定。文章的发现还可以进一步在汉语方言体标记的形态和无定量名短语宾语的分布等现象中得到印证。
It is argued in this paper that the word order typology and the variation of topicalization in Chinese dialects are both due to the parametric variation of verb movement under the framework of generative grammar. The claim is further supported by independent evidence from the morphology of aspect markers and the distribution of indefinite objects in Chinese dialects.
