Abstract: 句分为句子和小句。小句赋予特定的时间意义和句类,带上语气的小句成为句子。汉语表示句类最基本的形式手段是语调,句法上体现为标句词。语气主要表达了话段意义,可以体现为语气词。汉语的语气词可以分为焦点、程度、感情,只在根句出现。
Every clause is assigned a temporal meaning and a type.A clause is interpreted as a sentence when mood is introduced.Intonation is the basic strategy to indicate the clause type in Chinese and can be realized as a complementizer syntactically.Mood is associated with the utterance meaning and can be overtly realized as so-called modal particles. The modal particles are found in the root, expressing focus, degree, and some discourse properties.
