Issue Date: | 21-Aug-2020 | Source: | Journal of materials chemistry C, 21 Aug. 2020, v. 8, no. 31, p. 10587-10603 | Abstract: | Emerging development of functional materials provides promising solutions for wearable electronics, given their outstanding electronic, optical and mechanical properties. Digital manufacturing has the ability of rapidly building computer designed electronic devices from scratch, and provides tremendous opportunities for wearable electronic devices. This review summarizes the recent advances of digitally manufactured wearable electronic devices, from the perspectives of functional materials, manufacturing methods and wearable electronics applications. The opportunities and challenges for digitally manufactured wearable electronics are also discussed for this exciting field. | Publisher: | Royal Society of Chemistry | Journal: | Journal of materials chemistry C | ISSN: | 2050-7526 | EISSN: | 2050-7534 | DOI: | 10.1039/d0tc01112f | Rights: | This journal is © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2020 The following publication Lin, J., Zhu, Z., Cheung, C.
