dcterms.abstractFour students (Mr. Chum Pak Lam Gordon; Ms. Lau On Ying Yuuki, Ms. Chu Yan Tung Chloe, and Mr. He Zhaotang Allen) from the SHTM formed a team to participated in the Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Association (AFECA) “Asian MICE Youth Challenge” represented Hong Kong to compete with 18 different Asian countries. In this challenge, the team was required to design a novel, unique, world-class meeting (M), incentive tour (I), convention (C), or exhibition (E) and plan how to organize it feasibly in our born place, Hong Kong while outstanding the characteristics of this city. They suggested an expo called the Filmtech Expo which aims to provide an integrated platform for knowledge and business exchange for the film industry and to promote Hong Kong as a filming destination for sci-fi movies. The results exceeded their expectation that apart from receiving the “Best PowerPoint Presentation” Award, the team was also recognized as the Champion team, with 1000 US dollars as the cash prize.-
