| dcterms.abstract | The Bentley Institute 2021 Student BIM Challenge recognizes innovative and technically advanced projects using BIM technology in infrastructure design and management. Ms. Suen Wun Ki Christine and Ms. Tai Kai Wing Ann were inspired by virtual exhibitions which are often organized during the pandemic period. Artworks in the exhibitions are precisely 3D captured and modeled by complicated and expensive equipment. They wondered that if it is possible that we can capture any objects at any time anywhere by our smartphones only. This BIM Challenge gave them an opportunity to experiment with this idea and the team was so glad to receive the First Runner Up award in Innovation in data capturing for BIM. | - |
