Mr. Chu Yau Hei, Mr. Ho Chun Leung and Ms. Lee Yoon Jo teamed up to work on their FYP on the topic of building a UAV with solar powers to increase flight endurance. It was the idea of their supervisor - Dr. LI Boyang. He thought hat applying renewable energy in aircraft has a huge potential to develop in the industry. The team thought this was a very interesting challenge. They encountered most challenges in the manufacturing stage. As they were inexperienced in manufacturing techniques, such as soldering and electric cable wiring, and have limited equipment, the manufacturing period severely exceeded what they have scheduled. With the help from Dr. Li and the Industrial Centre, the team was able to achieve a great result in the end.-
