Abstract: This case study highlights the successful implementation of the flipped classroom approach in the course "Acupuncture for Physiotherapy Practice" (RS4910), taught by Professor Billy So from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. It discusses the rationale for adopting the flipped classroom model, describes the step-by-step implementation process, evaluates its positive impact on student learning, and addresses the challenges encountered. The study also identifies best practices, such as engaging students through immersive environments, structuring practice sessions to provide personalized feedback and enhance learning efficiency, and integrating innovative learning technologies to help reduce workload. Overall, the case illustrates the challenge of lacking expertise in producing high-quality learning videos for flipped learning.
