This case study highlights the successful implementation of the flipped classroom approach in the course "Accounting for Strategic Management" (AF5113), taught by Professor Lolita Edralin from the School of Accounting and Finance. It details the rationale for adopting the flipped classroom model, outlines the step-by-step implementation process, examines its positive impact on student learning, and discusses the challenges encountered. The case study also identifies best practices, such as using a partially flipped approach, selecting engaging and accessible learning materials, rewarding pre-class preparation, motivating students to actively participate in class activities, incorporating technology in the classroom, and leveraging generative AI to enhance learning and teaching.
