Title: A Good Flipped Classroom Case 07 from RS - Mr Kin-Chung TANG
Authors: Tang, Kin Chung
Issue Date: 2024
Abstract: This case study explores the effective implementation of a flipped classroom model in the course "Clinical Practice in Stroke Rehabilitation" (RS459), led by Mr. Kin-Chung Tang from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. It outlines the pedagogical rationale for adopting this approach and details the step-by-step process of its execution. The study examines the positive impact on student learning, particularly through best practices that extend learning beyond the classroom into real-world clinical practice. A key innovation highlighted is the use of WhatsApp groups to facilitate seamless communication between teachers, students, and patients, fostering a continuous learning loop. The case concludes that while the model is successful, dedicated technological support is essential for its further enhancement and sustainability.
