Abstract: <p align="justify">The Peninsula’s SOTI MobiControl IoT system lets guests control in-room functions via tablets, personalizing experiences and enabling targeted upselling. However, while enhancing convenience and loyalty, concerns arise over privacy due to data collection without consent and vulnerability to cyber-attacks, as many IoT devices lack default encryption, risking guest information security. <p align="justify">半岛酒店(The Peninsula)引入了 SOTI MobiControl 物联网(IoT)系统,使宾客能够通过客房内的平板电脑自主控制房内各项设施,在提供个性化体验的同时,也便于酒店进行针对性的增值销售。然而,在提升便利性与忠诚度的同时,该系统也引发了隐私担忧,因为存在未经授权收集数据的风险。此外,由于许多物联网设备缺乏默认加密保护,系统容易受到网络攻击,从而危及宾客的信息安全。
