Abstract: <p align="justify">The Hong Kong Golf Club (HKGC), established in 1889, operates two premier golf courses and offers memberships, retail, catering, training, and venue rental. Despite its rich history and contributions to local golf, HKGC faces criticism over high costs limiting accessibility and ongoing debates about repurposing its land for public housing. <p align="justify">香港哥尔夫球会(HKGC)成立于1889年,运营着两个顶级高尔夫球场,并提供会籍、零售、餐饮、培训及场地租借等多元化服务。尽管该球会历史悠久,且对本地高尔夫球运动的发展贡献良多,但它仍面临着因费用高昂、限制公众参与而引发的批评,以及关于将其土地改划为公营房屋用途的持续争议。
