| dcterms.abstract | In an indoor environment on fire, sensors disposed on, below, or above the floor are automatically deployed to view upward toward the ceiling to observe the body of smoke and flame rising near the ceiling, important information about the state and dynamics of the body of smoke and flame is allowed to be collected at the early stage of the fire (e.g., before the firefighter arrives). By distributing the sensors in the indoor environment, even in the early stage of the fire, the state and dynamics of the body of smoke and flame are monitored as a whole (i.e. As a whole). These information contributes to predicting the development of the fire. In one embodiment, the sensor is held during normal time in an infrastructure sensor holder mounted on a ceiling. When the occurrence of a fire is detected, the sensor falls from the holder, falls on the floor, and orients the sensing direction vertically upward for monitoring. | - |
