dc.descriptionEarly this century, cameras were suddenly small, affordable, and had .jpeg algorithms ready to capture everyday moments in greater quantity. Their photos open a window onto camera use before smartphones revolutionized mass image-sharing. Yet, when finding their obsolete memory cards, anonymous images from that time tell a more nuanced story. This ongoing project aims to reproduce this unexpected experience of finding.en_US
