Abstract: The invention discloses a cement-based leveling material and method for high-strength and ultrahigh-strength concrete. Raw materials for preparing the cement-based leveling material comprise the following components: cement, silica fume, quartz powder, a water reducing agent and an activator, wherein the activator is a solution containing chloride ions. According to the cement-based leveling material, the closest packing theory and the mechanism of accelerating hydration of the cement-based material by chloride ions are combined, and the problems that an existing leveling material is low in strength, low in error-tolerant rate, high in cost and the like are solved in a targeted mode. The cement-based leveling material has the characteristics of readily available raw materials, simplicity and convenience in preparation, high strength and the like, and is suitable for leveling pressed surfaces of high-strength and ultrahigh-strength concrete cubes, prismoids and cylinders before compression performance testing; and end treatment of high-strength and ultrahigh-strength concrete before compression performance testing can be remarkably simplified, and errors in the testing process are reduced.
