dcterms.abstractA controllable liquid transport material, a controllable liquid transport system, and a method for preparing a controllable liquid transport material. A first region of the controllable liquid transport material is treated to be hydrophobic, while a plurality of second regions, which have different shapes and are in partial contact or are completely separated, are treated to have gradients or different wettabilities and/or pore sizes which are used for performing passively controllable liquid transport, and/or are combined with an intelligent material which is used for performing actively controllable liquid transport which is driven by an external force, thereby allowing for efficient and controllable directional transport of a liquid such as sweat. The controllable liquid transmission system comprises a controllable liquid transport material which is used as a liquid transport layer, and a ventilating and waterproof protective layer.-
