As a novel technology, blockchain has a broad impact on various business practices. China is leading blockchain technology development all over the world. This paper studies the blockchain technology applications in the retail and insurance sectors in China. Specifically, we compared the similarities and differences of blockchain implementations between two typical cases-Suning and Ping An.
