《FAST Research Insight》第十二集 - 林枝衍博士推行「同理設計社區織網計劃」

Abstract

香港正面臨急速人口老化的問題。理大紡織及服裝學系助理教授林枝衍博士以紡織表達藝術及銀髪時裝作為介入點，為青老及長者注入新的力量，令他們成為「同理設計大使」，利用他們本身的專業為社會出一份力。林博士推行「同理設計社區織網計劃」，以設計連結紡織及服裝學系學生與長者，發揮協同效應。其研究提昇青老的自務能力，助人自助，服務區內的獨居長者，建立共融社會。 Hong Kong is facing the problem of ageing population. Dr Jin Lam of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC) has adopted expressive textile arts and silver-hair fashion as an intervention point to empower the young-old and elderly, and encourage them to contribute to the community by applying their professional knowledge. Dr Lam has implemented the “Empafashion Design”: Community Network Weaver scheme, and used design as a medium to bridge the ITC students and elderly to create the synergistic effect. Her research has improved the self-initiative ability of the young-old and served the elderly singletons in need, in order to build an inclusive society.
