身處大數據時代，科學家手握海量數據，有助他們進行更有效的研究，包括研發更具針對性的治療方案。然而，統計學家在分析大型數據過程中，經常面對「缺失數據」及「高維數據」兩大挑戰。應用數學系助理教授黃堅祐博士同大家分享如何解決這些難題。 In this era of big data, scientists have collected an unprecedented amount of data that enable them to conduct effective research, including the development of more pertinent treatments and therapies. Yet, the issues of missing data and high-dimensional data have posed great challenges to the analysis of large-scale data.
