《FAST Research Insight》第三集 - 鄭子劍教授和他的研究團隊成功研發出「液態金屬纖維氈」

平時去做身體檢查,有一大堆電線同感應器,裝置複雜又黏住皮膚大熱天時更加唔舒服。理大紡織及服裝學系鄭子劍教授及團隊成功研發出透氣電子皮膚,一種高透氣、超彈性的導電材料,其透氣度較日常用的護理膠布高出22倍,可廣泛應用於健康監測設備、運動科學同貼在皮膚上的電子裝置。

Body check usually involves complicated electrical circuits and sensors which can easily irritate skin especially in summer. Prof. Zheng Zijian from the Institute of Textiles and Clothing and his team have developed a highly permeable and superelastic conductor which can be used in various applications, including health monitoring devices, sports science and on-skin electronics. Its permeability is 22 times higher than that of the medical patch.
