皮秒激光技術原來唔單止應用係美容技術，仲可以用於精密加工同醫療方面。應用物理學系的副教授曾遠康博士研發激光器既重要組件，大大減低技術成本，令應用更普及。

Not only does the picosecond laser technology apply on beauty services, it could also be used in precision machining and medical treatment. Dr Peter Tsang, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Physics @PolyuAP, is developing the critical component with lower cost and for broader applications.
