Abstract: A switchable multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber laser with a multimode FBG and highly nonlinear PCF is demonstrated. Stable five-wavelength operation with 0.8 nm spacing was achieved. Switching between stable one- to four-wavelength operations is also demonstrated.
