Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)
SAW is an automated form of Shielded Metal Arc Welding for joining thick steel plates. The electrode is submerged under flux material thereby produces minimal fume, no spatter nor visible arc.
Applicable to longitudinal abd circumferential butt welds.
