dcterms.abstractThe invention discloses an automatic mobile fabric defect detection system and a control method thereof. The system comprises a loom bracket, a guiderail, a base, a camera, a controller and an image processor, wherein the guiderail is suspended on the loom bracket; the base is mounted on the guiderail and moves leftwards and rightwards on the bracket with the guiderail; the camera is arranged on the base and moves leftwards and rightwards on the guiderail; the controller is used for controlling the left-right movement of the guiderail and controlling the camera to acquire images; and the imageprocessor is used for carrying out image analysis on the acquired images and automatically detecting defects of fabrics. The system and method provided by the invention can replace traditional manualfabric checking of looms, and have the advantages of being high in correctness and low in omission ration and greatly decreasing the occurrence probability of defected fabrics.-
