Abstract: In this paper, a previously developed theoretical model [1] for the analysis of air penetration through clothing assemblies and the wind induced heat transfer is reviewed and applied to examine the effects of wind velocity, permeability of outer fabric and inner fibrous battings, thickness of fibrous battings and human body dimensions on the distribution of effective clothing insulation.
