Abstract: This article presents the results of tests to measure the effectiveness of the use of numbers anglicized when simultaneously from English into Chinese. Participants were divided into a control group and an experimental group. Participants in the experimental group were more efficient at the precision and fluidity than the control group. These results confirm that the numbers can overload cognitive resources interpreters. The results suggest that the use of anglicized numbers can alleviate the burdens congnitives interpreters.
