Abstract: This paper analyzes transient magnetic shielding made by conductive plates using the PEEC method. A double-exponential function is adopted for eddy current distribution to avoid extensive meshing on the plate. Circuit parameters are determined by evaluating complex power associated with cell currents. A vector-fitting technique is applied to extract frequency-invariant resistance and inductance. A circuit analysis tool can be then applied to find eddy current in the plates, subsequently the impulse magnetic field around the plate.
