Abstract: Based upon wavelets, a method to characterize ballistic texture in terms of a set of handful number of parameters is proposed. A statistical distance that follows a well-known theoretical distribution is suggested to measure the difference between two ballistic textures and a statistical test is suggested to compare two ballistic textures.
