Abstract: The article explores the impact of the Anti-Monopoly Law (AML) on foreign investments in China. It presents the strategy used by the country to update its domestic economy and to create the world's greatest export-processing market through foreign capital. An overview of the country's economic reform process and the provisions of the Anti Money Laundering Law relative to foreign direct investment (FDI) is given. It discusses the effect of the global financial crisis on the country's economy.
