Abstract: Innovation is critical to the viability of organizations in an increasingly complex and volatile business environment. This research examines which thinking styles of entrepreneurs are related to innovation in Chinese technology-based firms. In a mail survey of 66 technology entrepreneurs, results showed that only liberal style of entrepreneurs was positively related to innovation. Implications for theory and practice were discussed.
