Abstract: In this paper, we present a new method for calculating and simulating a tight-fitting garment’s pressure with the hypersurface method, based on a geometric method and a physically-based cloth model. This is one of the key techniques in the functional apparel CAD.
Through the three-cubic B-spline model of cloth pressure, analyzing the changing of a garment’s surface and the property of cloth elasticity, the garment’s wearing pressure distribution in the 3D surface was calculated and stimulated.
