Abstract: This paper reports the investigation results of the dynamic response property in a big and high air-conditioned space using numerical simulation and experiment. The space is 30m×30m×20m (length × width × height), whose air temperature is kept constant. The best air distribution mode is obtained by steady state numerical analyses. The time lag, time constant and scale factor of the air-conditioned space of normal air supply and heat source variation are investigated by detailed 3-D transient state numerical analyses. Finally the results of the numerical analyses are verified by experiments with good agreement.
