Abstract: The use of a predisposed 4,4-bipyridine segmental ligand in copper-tyrosine chiral complex self-assembly processes allows the preparation of a new type of complex {[Cu 2(tyrosine) 2 (4,4-bipyridine) ·2H 2O]·2ClO 4} n, which results in the fine tuning of network structure and stereo conformation.
