Abstract: This paper presents an electronic ballast circuit for a fluorescent lamp using switched capacitor techniques. Zero-current-switching (ZCS) can be achieved by the proposed circuit. Thus the switching current of the transistor is reduced and electromagnetic interference is decreased. Simulation results and experimental results are used to show the performance of the proposed circuit
