Abstract: The reaction of osmium vinylidene complexes with HC triple bond CCMe3 was investigated. The formation of osmium carbyne and vinylidene complexes was observed. The complex was characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The solid state structure of these complexes was studied.
