Abstract: Fiber-optic vibration sensing system using a tilted fiber grating and a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) has been demonstrated. Dynamic vibration measurement up to 200 Hz with improved signal-to-noise ratio better than 40 dB was achieved.
