Abstract: The use of the multi-attribute model for priority setting in planned maintenance of large building stocks is introduced. Practical issues related to the proper use of the model, such as selection criteria for maintenance prioritization and allocation of weightings to these criteria are discussed. Successful validation of the model in both the UK and Hong Kong is demonstrated.
