Abstract: The implementation of ERP is sophisticated and is highly risky. The paper will explore the critical success factors in the implementation process using a multicriteria approach (ELECTRE III). To facilitate the research study, production postponement, as one of the mechanisms to manage the risks and uncertainty that associated with product diversity and sudden customer demands in today’s business setting, is proposed to consider. A framework concerning the critical success factors and the external stakeholders is established. A case study has been conducted to apply the proposed framework for the prioritization process.
